39 Weeks

So I just got back from another doctor's appointment and here's the update: I am one centimeter dilated and the baby's head is down and the cervix is soft, but not effaced. My doctor said she wouldn't object to inducing me later in the week, but that she couldn't recommend it with the gusto she would like. So, she basically told me there could be some safety risks, but it was up to me. I told her I would wait. I'm not totally miserable (yet), and I would rather not risk something going wrong. She tried to strip my membranes as best she could, and then told me to come back next monday. So, there ya go. I have a feeling that if the weekend rolls around and I'm still pregnant, I am really not going to be very pleasant to be around :). Hopefully things will just happen on their own before then (for everyone's sake).

38 Weeks

So here's the update. I went to the doctor and got checked yesterday. I am not dilated at all, and the baby's head is nowhere near the cervix. Basically she said "good luck and come back next week." So, there ya go. If anything changes, I'll keep you posted. We are definitely on the countdown!

Sacramento County Fair

Aunt Sarah auctioned her sheep off at the fair, so we went to hang out with her.

This isn't the fair, but it is funny. Taylen likes giving massages. This is her giving grandpa a back massage...or maybe it's a bum massage...or a bum sniff...you decide.

Mother's Day

Taylen and I wore matching jeans jackets on Mother's Day, and I didn't evn plan it.

After church we went to Nana and Grandpa's and Tay dressed up like a care bear. She is just getting into pretending and dressing up, and it's pretty entertaining.
