So, I have officially been accepted to the Marriage and Family Therapy Master's program at Alliant International University!! WOHOO! The program is small (they accept 12-15 students each year) and starts the end of August. I am SO excited. I have no idea how in the heck I'm going to work full time, be a single mom, and go to grad school full time...but hey, it'll work out if it's supposed to, I guess. I really REALLY hope I can figure out a way to make this work, because I would love to get my Master's and start a small private practice...
And at the end of the two year program I can even be my own therapist! It just gets better and better...

Nikki, I am so very proud of you. Daily you are an inspiration to me with your faith in god and your strength agaist your trials. You will do wonderfully in school. That is so Awesome!!! I know how hard those programs are to get into...You can totally do this...even if you can't see a possible way to do it, there is one! Two years will go by whether you are in school or not, being a little more stressed or just stressed, doing a little more work or just the same. Good for you for going for it!
