*I know this is true. I know that we will be delivered from our trials, in the Lord's time and in the Lord's way...which happens to be the hard part for me. I want to be delivered now! I want to be done with my trials now! The Lord does not promise to sheild us from pain and suffering. In fact, He guarantees that we will each be put through our own, individualized refiner's fire. The Lord is aware of me, He loves me, He is rooting for me :). Now if only I could start rooting for myself...

Rooting for yourself is the hardest part and yet that is what the Lord desires most for us. That through it all our light will shine and we will realize what he sees in us. It sure is hard to see the forest through the trees. As we sit amidst our trials we do not see the other side but it sure feels great when you reach it. You can do it Nik.
You are amazing. You don't know me, but probably know some of my family, the Haas'. I guess I have been "blogger stalking" you for a while just because you are a true inspiration...to not only me, but a whole lot of people. Ever since your blog about picking that fact about temple marriage in Relief Society, I have been completely amazed. Thanks for updating your blog so much and being such a great example to me.
