Remember that one time Brooke and I tried out for American Idol? (click HERE to refresh your memory.)
Apparently I'm not good enough singing with my mouth open to get me anywhere, but singing with my mouth closed is an entirely different story.
And it seems I have a talent for finding new (and more public) ways of embarrassing myself all the time. This one will be hard to top, though.
I am so flattered that my impeccable grace and beauty were finally able to be appreciated by the American public.
And in case you missed it...

oh nikki-
your special.
I guess you were just weird enough to make it on the show, lol...
loves.
i'm sure, good one ryan. like you were going to try out singing with closed lips. who's the retard now!?
well, at least you made it on.. sort of. :)
HAHA! that was AWESOME!
I DID miss it...that was awesome. A sweet moment of fame. What talent! And I'm still surprised you got rejected. I remember that voice of yours and you're better than half the people going through. Se la vi.
I still totally remember you trying to teach us all how to do this at a pool party at Danielle's house in like 7th grade! And now you're famous for it...awesome :-)
What???!!! They didn't like the 'man-in-your-mouth' talent? They're crazy! . . . I want ya to know, if it hadn't have been for you teachin me this when I was eight, my children would've missed out on some pretty neat 'man-in-my-mouth' concerts from me. :) I thought you looked beautiful!
We don't have cable anymore and I missed that!!! That is super cool though!!!! Did you freak when you saw yourself on TV???
Sweet. I totally hid from the camera when I was there, but now I kind of wish I hadn't. We should all be able to make fun of ourselves a bit. And I have to admit, that's a pretty cool talent. I've seen Sarah do it before and she said you taught her.
Hey, you got air time.
If you watched the rest of the show, I'm sure you recognized people, and I know you guys weren't sitting by us, but the chick with the long dreads that brought all her paperwork about her "lar-y-n-x" and "tra-sheus"...she was sitting like two rows up from us. Totally in her own world, and I told my mom, Sara and Judy-"That girl is going to make it through this round. We'll see her on TV". And there ya go.
I agree you did look beautiful! Way to make it on air! :)
What song are you even singing? I couldn't tell. I thought of you when it premired and wondered if you'd make it, but I haven't watched it since.
HAAHAHAHAH!!!! I love it! And I love that Ryan couldn't even comment. ha ah YEs!!
Hey! You're famous! Good job!
I need your email address. I'm putting together the hymns and musical numbers and my mind has blanked -- I can't remember the song we're singing on the 15th of February... Will you email it to me?

Thanks!
you can see me flipping my hair on the right! WOOO! I AM ALMOST AS COOL AS YOU!
my mom watches it and I've been catching bits & pieces of it and let me just say that it irks me so that they have all these crappy people on there but not you!! at least you got a little love. :)
We knew you would always be famous for that little trick! I have it DVR'd and haven't watched yet, but it will be fun to see you!
that is so funny I remember you doing when we were roomates!! love it!!
Did Andrew and I hear right, you are singing "You are my Sunshine?" What are the odds of ending up on the actual show? Way to go, maybe you will soon be discovered!
haha You are so funny! And hey at least you made it on tv!! :)
I'm laughing so hard right now, and that's dangerous for a pregnant woman! Too funny....
hahaha...that is so funny! i love it!
that takes talent right there!!!
You know the coolest part about the first couple episodes is all the weird talent they find and that is definitely a weird talent. I was surprised that you or Brooke didn't make it but I guess you needed to show a lot more skin or have a depressing life story. Hollywood... who needs em'
That's awesome! How can they say that's not talent? Too good!
