that is so true, Nikki. I learned from this awesome book "What's so amazing about grace" by Phillip Yancey that forgiveness is actually more for the forgiver than the other person. It doesn't mean you're saying that what they did was okay, but you are choosing to forgive them in order to keep YOUR relationship with God in the right place, and for you to be able to eventually move on, and even let go of the pain, as you said.
Nikki, thanks for your comment! I want you to know that I think about you and your adorable girls very often and hope that you are doing okay. You are very strong and beautiful and I am so glad that I was able to be your roommate freshmen year. Also, I don't comment very often, but I do look at your page very often! :) You have an amazing attitude about life.
