I learned from this awesome book "What's so amazing about grace" by Phillip Yancey that forgiveness is actually more for the forgiver than the other person. It doesn't mean you're saying that what they did was okay, but you are choosing to forgive them in order to keep YOUR relationship with God in the right place, and for you to be able to eventually move on, and even let go of the pain, as you said.; June 6, 2008 at 12:16 PM
